These handmade stoneware wall sconces come in two sizes and three earthy colours – paper, basalt and madder. They’re unglazed which gives them a pleasing, rustic texture. The maker was inspired by 7th-century martyr St Winifred, which makes them all the more magical to us.

Curator's Note:

“I’m a huge lover of antique brass wall sconces, especially when we step into autumn. These are an exquisite alternative if you’d prefer something new. When the days get dark from 4pm, they’re lovely at the end of a corridor so you walk towards candlelight.” – Sarah
