Rooted in the midwestern plains, Bayl creates heirloom-quality woollen goods. Their pieces are an expression of the tradition of shepherding which they hope will help shape the future of ethical apparel. Each garment begins life via the respectful harvest of merino fibre from Rambouillet sheep. By working closely with the few remaining domestic wool processors and by using only plant- and mineral-based dyes, every production stage is slow and thoughtful. The result is straight-forward, evocative and creature-kind, planet-conscious apparel.
