Emma Aitchison Jewellery is a conscious jewellery brand that produces designs inspired by the natural world.
A carbon-neutral brand, working with recycled, Fair trade and locally sourced materials, all handmade in Emma’s London studio using a combination of traditional, modern and adapted techniques.
With climate change now a main focus of her work, each collection has a distinct theme and a powerful message that seeks to address various environmental issues. Emma explores this subject matter through her designs, collecting and studying weather graphs and data to translate her messages into wearable pieces of jewellery. Her pieces thereby act as a reminder of what is happening to the world around us. They are intended as conversation starters to raise awareness of the issues we are all facing.
Emma’s past collections take their names from natural formations and are titled Wind, Mountain and Lava. Her most recent collection was inspired by the plastic problem in our oceans. Emma also accepts bespoke requests and hosts regular workshops.
