Aoı Project is about making sustainable everyday objects and garments in an ethical way, using natural and biodegradable materials. Currently, all pieces are designed and sewn in Oslo, Norway by founder Solveig Knutsen.
Their classic workwear inspired pieces include button-down shirts and jackets, and high-waisted, loose-fit trousers. AoI sources fabrics and materials that are sustainable and made under ethical circumstances, whilst also ensuring durability, functionality, comfort and appearance. These materials include organic cotton, linen, hemp, wool and Tencel. On each of the product pages you will find a breakdown of cost, material use and origin.
AOI work with ethical suppliers, and strive to support small businesses where possible when sourcing their materials. All garments are made upon order to ensure low waste.
